Our '88 E-250 uses 215 85r16. The 2008 E-150 uses 225 75r16. Goodyear makes some good radial tread patterns. I like the Warangler ATS or all weather Silent Armor for the rear. I might try to find some used ones to try on my Mutt once it's up and running. I'll have to look up the Michelins mentioned above.

What is the widest tire that can be fitted on the stock rim without rubbing? 225/75R16? Most of the MT or AT tires I look at are not available in 215/85R16, only larger sizes like 245/65R16.
