Guy,
it's a very interesting unit but, it looks to me like it was a half-cut M151A1 and whoever put it back together decided to extend the rear half.
If you zoom in on picture #2, look at the top of the rear wheel arch, forward of the rear wheel. You'll see the stud that locks the rails for the canvas top....still in place.

It's all nicely done and professional-looking and if you ever wanted a mutt pickup, you could do worse than this one. :D
