I hooked up the mounts etc no power to the radio
I have power at the mount going into the radio.
have any ideas on a fix/ I need help trouble shooting

Check the settings in the j box on the mount (that is the bit that connects to the Rt-524). It should be set to connect E23 to E24, E22 to E23 is used when you have a remote connected. You can see this in section 2.8 of TM 11-5820-401-20-1: probably worth downloading a copy.
If, on the other hand, you mean that there is definitely power going to the radio then I would suspect a faulty circuit breaker. These can be a bit tricky to replace so it is worth getting the correct TM with troubleshooting info to determine if that is the cause of the problem. You may also wish to check the voltages at the various test points.
I would suggest caution if you contemplate taking the front or back panel off as getting the tuning gears back in to alignment can be a serious problem if you accidentally change them.
There is an earlier post re a guy in the States who does repairs on these radios. If you need him and cannot find the details pm me as I have his email address somewhere.
