KY8 TSEC

Postby cranea » July 19th, 2016, 6:45 pm

Does anyone have a manual or any information on the KY8 TSEC, specifically on what mount would be used to install in the M151?

Thanks,

Alan

Use the search in the bar above, I believe the site owner did a long post on that very setup a few years ago. The KY is set up in tandem with a 524 and a radio enclosure.

I think that's the KY57 set up. This is what KY8 looks like.

We used KY8's in Vietnam. Can't find one guted to use in my jeep. I remember how to hook one up with RT-524. Man I wish I could find one. Maybe I'll make one.

Don't remember the mount for KY-8, but the R-393/URR mount MT-836/URR looks a lot like the one used. It probably had it's own. If someone has the TM on the KY-8 that may help.
