Teletype on a MUTT?
Over on Epay, there is a military teletype up for bid (BTW--if anyone wants one, we have a gaggle of them in near pefect working order at Idaho Motor Pool) Anyway, what got my attention was the picture of it mounted on top of some type of other unit on the rear fender of an A2. Does anyone recognize the whole setup, or at least maybe just what the bottom radio unit is? The item number is #190185359343. Check out the picture.
thats a coffin mount for an aviation radio, part of the MRC-108 FAC Radio jeep package

I saw a pic once, but for the life of me can't find it now of a TTY in a M151 with an R392 and T-195 set up. I'm getting ready to re-restore my jeep and I've been wondering about making it a commo jeep but not the FAC Airforce one. Anyone got any info on if these were built?
There is one nut on a M151 that is very difficult to remove.....
