RC-2niner2

Unread post by Rainman » July 20th, 2010, 12:03 pm

Hey guys,
I'm trying to find an old working RC-292 HF antenna for the RT-524 and other sets. At least for the antenna base so I can piece one together. Mast sections would be nice, but I have an AB-952 launcher to erect it. Actually had a chance to buy one a few years ago complete for $100. I should have jumped on it but didn't. Fair Radio is a place I only use in an emergency due to their pricing. Any help would be appreciated, so if you happen to see one on craigslist or at a show, please keep me in mind.

Alex at Idaho Motor Pool has a couple of RC292's laying around. Call him and tell him I sent ya'. If you strike a deal, I'll go over and pick through them for you. (I might be driving to central Illinois this fall. I can bring it that far--PM me if it gets to that point)

Thanks Bill,
I'm finishing my packing tonight for the Mid-Ohio, but will get in touch with him when I get back. The Illinois connection sounds like a terrific offer, I hope we can get it together. If I had more time I'd be working on it tonight. :D
