I just noticed several on e-bay along with several back pack frames for them.

I may have a spare. Will have to dig in the stack of stuff on the radio shelf. I know I had several 25's and 77's but not sure I have any left.

Hey HEPROX,
His ebay user name is haneyelect, and an ebay store search will turn up a phone number. I have a radio tech here in Ohio I use for repairs at Army Green Radio. If you need John at AGR's info let me know. Neither of these radio guy's info is listed here on the site. I've suggested it be put into the resource list, but it's never been added. :?

Hey HEPROX,
If your 77 isn't working, then John at AGR is your guy. He's repair only for the most part. If your looking for accessories, get ahold of Tony Banks here on "The 8". He has complete antenna kits very reasonable. I've seen the AT-271 sell alone on ebay for what Tony can sell the entire antenna kit with flex extension, tape antenna, AT-271 and a new handset. :D Yup, tbanks is the radio accessory connection, I did not see that he had backpacks though. I know Bob Croce had complete PRC-77's with everything with them including batteries at Findley, Ohio and possibly at the Mid-Ohio. He's on here too. Best buy on batteries is a guy on ebay from PA that sells cases(16) of just expired batteries delivered to your door for $60. I'm considering picking up 2 cases at Gilbert and saving a little bit picking them up. I can get you phone numbers for all the above mentioned contacts if you need them.

No jeeps for me at Gilbert. It's 6 hrs mapquest time. Evansville was 8 hrs in a civilian car, would have been 10 in the jeep. Those are over my limits for a weekend excursion. I'll have the Mountaineer with a rebuilt tranny in it this time. :) Is there a scheduled club meeting, and who's bringin the beer :D ?
