Picked up a few Mounts and related today

Unread post by artillerydan » February 2nd, 2011, 10:38 pm

Just a couple

Well truck was full.

Some of this and that Antenna Bases with 7 style brackets for CUCVs LOTS of MT-1029s, KY-57 mounts. Bunches of the newer mounts, some of the mounts for the R442s, Misc other items. Crazy thing is I kept finding M151 tid bits..... Drivers door frame, Drain Plug Wrench ( Kinda funny on the wrench..since I have around 150 NOS ones) Door support rod, Antenna bracket..

I will grade these and such then start to sell them. There were quite a few "early" MT-1029s with the wire mesh shock mounts. Probabbly in the $25 to $45 dollar range depending on condition and such.

I wish :( I kept digging and telling myself that there would be some 524s or 442s down in there.

Also I have had some other inquireries about intercom components and related. I do have AM-1780s and C-2299 control boxes for sale (they were not with this stuff, totaly seperate purchase in another state).

You need the AM-1780 to have an "intercom" set up to talk back and forth with others in the same vehicle.

You can have just the C2299 on your dash so you can connect your head set and mic. and talk "outside" the vehicle.

AM-1780 control boxes - Semi Gloss OD, normal white paint on knobs $125

AM-1780 control boxes - Semi Gloss OD, Glow in the dark white paint on knobs $150 (these are the early ones with radioactive material in the paint)

C-2299 control boxes Semi Gloss OD $35.00

C-2299 control boxes CARC Green $35.00

or as pictured - 1, AM-1780 & 2, C2299s for $175.00 or Glow in dark $200 Most of the AM-1780s are SG OD and the control boxes are CARC Green

SAMPLE PICTURES

Sorry NO interconnect cables you will need to find them on ebay or from Fair Radio or your local MV swapmeet. These are available and usually not to exspensive 10 to 30 ea.

Hi Dan,

Nice Find !! Espeially those "EARLY" 1029's mounts !! Not to many Folk know the difference between them and the newer-ORANGE shocks!! I installed one of these (NOS) and the early style R442 mount in the 1965 M151a1 I restored. The wire mesh, is a classic for the early M151-hint hint !! :) KEEP a Good one for Your 62 These are very hard to find, most were retrofitted to the newer style. I would refurbish these-cosmetically and resell ! There is a Market for them for a collector who wants EARLY M151 A1 parts!
Love the Glow in the dark :) Hope You find YOUR GAUGES like this !

MT-1029s. Looks like I will have 12 to 15 of the early mounts available and 20 to 25 of the standard mounts. I will try and grade hem this weekend. Some of them had the KY-57 electrics installed and they removed them from the mounts so some of the mounts were taken apart and obviously they did not care to put them back together. Also as you can see they were in a pile so they do have scraches and dings.. They range from desert cammo over SG OD to unused in CARC green. I will also have a couple...3 or 4 R-442 mounts (MT-1898) for sale. I will go through and picture and price this weekend. :)
