If I remember the spacers are just tack welded on supposed to be able to break them off, that is not the mount you need for RT-246, 524 install though the mount looks like that it is flat at the top and holds the early box type antenna base I have pics of mine in the M38A1 send me your email address and Ill send them. Can you give me the measurement from the top of the 449 to the bottom on the back? I think I am going to make one. I found a plan on line but some of the dimentions are not clear.
