Thats for a M38 or M38A1 holds the AB-15 base, they have gotten very pricey best bet if someone doesnt have one is try to get to a MV meet or flea market. Scott O&O

Found one on E-Bay. Yep a bit price...but...I would have more time invested simply making one then I could buy one for.

I am planning on mounting the AB-15 antenna on the AB-448/g, for the R442, on my M38. I will prob have to remove the four short extensions on the bottom. It has a 2" hole in the top it. We shall see....
The MP-50 antenna mount already on my M38, will prob have a 'sugar spoon' mounted on it for the MX 6706 antenna base.
I do not think the mounting area on the AB-449/g, is large enough to accept the 6707 antenna base either. Prob not enough room under the mounting flange for the base of the 6707 base to protrude through either....without hitting the spare. In any case, I had not planned on mounting the MX 6707 on it.
