Yeah...THAT looks like the one.. Thanks. There are several radio shacks nearby. I will see what they have.

Steve, Are you adapting your cable to a PL-259 so it will attach directly to the antenna or did you find a PL-159 to BNC adapter? The only adapter I saw on that website was male 259 to male BNC and that will not work. I am guessing you may have found the right one since you sound like it is in use already.

Hey OMGM,
There's a hamfest coming up in the Falls in a few weeks. Usually they have all the adapters and connectors needed for military radio installations. I'm sure I have one in one of these base antennas (RC-292) that are sitting here in my living room or on a long coax cable in the garage.

Hmmm.. I would like to check THAT out. Other than hooking up a few more cables, installing the external speaker for the R442 and painting some small parts and drilling some holes..It is done.

I have been working a bit here and there on finishing a good and proper install on the R442 and the A2060 in my M151. Soon we will need to "key up" for a commo check. (smile)

I have been piling what I need to do the VRC12 install in my M38 on the rear seat and floor. What do you know about those 'antenna tuner box bases,' that were compatible with the RT524 and mostly replaced in the late 60's, by the 6017 "round," antenna base? The AB-449/G antenna mount I am going to use on my M38 will not accept a 6017 antenna base. I was going to mount my 'sugar spoon,' right on the MP50 base for the 6017 antenna.....BUT... the AB-449/G mount can accept one of the , antenna tuner 'boxes,' pretty easily it seems. THEN I would just keep the AB-15 on the MP50. What to do...so many choices... (smile)

The "F to Pl 259 adapter is what I purchased. Female to the AB-15 male to the coax end. It was listed for $4.49+/-
