Hey Frenchman,
Last I knew Tony Banks had a few. He hasn't been around very much the past few months, but still catches up on the topics on occasion. There were a couple at Gilbert last year for under $40. Might take another show season to bring a few to the surface. I'll keep my eyes open if you can't locate one on line. Pvt Jarhead may be another possible source.

thank you for the reply rainman you are right about tony bank been calling him every two week he has couple left but can not find them in his storage talked to him couple day ago he also told me that he droped off the<G> he his very bizy setting up shop to repairing radio
as for jarhead i know him been to his place before i has lot of stuff and a very nice men to deal with will give him a call but i dont think he has what i need

Steve Haney down in Texas had them new in the box painted CARC dont know if he still does, Scott O&O+

frenchman, thanks again for getting that shelf for me---since i already have a good cover for my 524, maybe you could get together with rickf, since he's looking for one. nice job on the transmission.

ok, question---now that the metal shelf is in place, it seems that i should leave the canvas cover off, so that it doesn't overheat the radio. comments?
