Floyd and Ralph.......Rainman spells it the same way......and he can't see straight, thats why he was a ponyboy . Mr. D...nice. I'm still learning about the radios, since all we did was yell to each other, or bang the drums with our hammers, when we needed something in the pits. What ever works. Seabee

Hey Ralph,
Now that you mention it, I do see the differences between you two guys. Floyd looks to be a little taller too.

Seabee, I'm sure your right, cause I saw that National Geographic special where the monkeys were teaching the seabees to use sticks to get ants out of the ant hill. The seabees weren't catching on very fast, but the monkeys kept showing them over and over till those seabees finally got the idea. Next year's special they said the monkeys will try to teach the seabees to use bigger sticks to pound on rocks and to make banging noises to communicate. This must be the hammers pounding on the drums your speaking of. We're all so proud of you Seabee and especially me. :D You and your little friends are coming right along with this whole evolution thing. If we could just teach you to stop flinging so much poop at people all the time.

These were Seabee "Officers" ,....... the Union boys already knew how to clean out ants and pound out messages . And yes, Rainman would miss me if I stopped complimenting him. But no kidding, this radio stuff is really interesting....thanks Mr.D for sharing. Seabee

It's such a feeling of total contentment, just knowing you guys truly appreciate my many talents, like my whimsical wit and abundance of expository writing skills. I'll admit I may need to turn the camera around from time to time, but hey, I'm only off by 180 degrees. To think, this post by MrD from nearly two years ago was brought back to life, like Frankenstein's monster  by HTN. See what you've done HTN? Enticing me to spend valuable time writing messages with at least two of my very favorite "8"ers, Laurel and Hardy :D Hardy's the one with the great graphics. Seabee, you take a good ribbing, Make it to the MVPA Convention in Dayton and I'll buy you a beer, and give you a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

Hey HTN,
This is the MP50 and bracket to attach it to the corner mount. This is what I'll use on the"early" project.

Got a R442 for $222 including shipping. He says he has 3 more that look the same as this one, and are working.
