Have in my possession an ST 7-180-3 from Feb 1978. it's a sample test for the PRC-77, VRC-64, and the GRC-160. I'll ask around on a few Signal Corp Forums about training materials.

There is a 26 minute 1963 Army Training Film on Youtube on the VRC-12 radio sets. The RT-524 is part of the VRC-12 series, as well as the RT-246 and R-442. The demonstration is mostly with the RT-246 but the RT-524 is very similar except it does not have the pusbuttons for pre-programmed frequencies and the remote capability, but it does have an internal speaker, where the RT-246 does not. I have not watched it in a while but I remember when I first watched it that it was quite interesting. The link to the Youtube video is below.

Here is another Army Training Film from 1994 titled, "Radio Fundamentals for the combat medic using AN PRC77". The PRC-77 is very similar to the PRC-25. The only difference is that the PRC-25 has a tube and the PRC-77 is solid state. They both are operated in exactly the same way. Maybe this film will be of help also.
