Antenna base mounting location
My MUTT came with two corner brackets installed and the sugar-scoop bracket for the AS3900 base mounted to the side of the passenger side bracket. What was the most common location for mounting the scoop when using a sigle PRC 25/77 rig? It's a 1967 M151A1 set up for service in Vietnam in the 67-69 time frame.

I don't think that sugar scoops were around in '67

I didn't think that the AS3900 was extant in 1967. Isn't it a SINCGARS part? Do you mean the MX-6707/VRC ?Legio3Arty wrote:My MUTT came with .... and the sugar-scoop bracket for the AS3900 base It's a 1967 M151A1 set up for service in Vietnam in the 67-69 time frame.
