Okay, you guys may laugh at me for this one...
42GPW hooked me up with a sugar scoop today, (Thanks Matt!), last part I needed for the install of my antenna mount/matching unit/antenna. Passenger side install as most of ours were this way so the driver could simply reach over when parked and fiddle with the comms.
I had a NOS rope with the antenna holder thingie, (very technical terms here), so I decided to use it rather than my old ratty one.
Eezie peezy, right? I just for the life of me cannot remember how we used to secure the rope to the jeep! I have a vague memory of using the eye hook that the safety strap attaches to on the passenger side. But I also have a memory of it attaching to the windshield...I also have a memory of securing it in the down position across the top of the jeep, over to the driver side, so that the driver can easily pull it down, and release the rope when driving solo.
Square me away please!

Thanks Dan. I thought I remembered having them tied at least a couple different ways! Looping it around the windshield hinge seems most correct. I will go that route.
