No I'm not doing anything to the radio that came with the A1. When the A2 is up to par, the radio will be the hubby's and probably put on the A2, but he wants it the way it is, working.

And though there is a battery box coming with the PRC 10, powering it up is not an issue, when the one i'm buying is already dead, and will be gutted to put a cd/radio into it. :)

Well I meant you could put a 12V battery into the batter box...(the battery box on a PRC10 is the same size as the radio) to power the radio inside the radio.
There is one nut on a M151 that is very difficult to remove.....

Oh, gotcha. Yeah, I plan on doing some sort of set up like that.
