WTB PRC-77 PRC-25 shell

Unread post by Bart1015 » March 10th, 2016, 1:24 pm

Hello guys

I am looking for a PRC-77/PRC-25 radio shell for a project I have pending. The condition does not matter as long as it will fit in the AM-2060.

The following is the list of what I am looking for.

Shell, including the battery lid. I do not need any controls/dials.
I would like to get a radio face, again the condition does not matter.

I do need a usable power receptacle from the face.

I want to use the shell as a holder for my AM/FM MP3 radio. I plan on cutting the face to mount the radio. I will use the power plug from the PRC-77 face to obtain the needed power. I will place a marine speaker in the radio shell, facing upward. I don't think I will get great sound but its worth a try.

Please PM if you have any parts you would like to sell on the cheap.

Also, I am not in a hurry so if you see something in the future, please keep me in mind.

Thanks

Brett
