Good deal on .22lr

Postby raymond » November 16th, 2016, 9:10 am

Made by Aguila. 5000 round case for $350.00 plus shipping. I've shot about 3500 rounds of this in the past month and a half. Cases are primed by Eley for reiliability. It is high velocity, so it cycles semi autos well. It is copper plated so your barrel does not lead up. It burns clean, so firearm stays clean and is easy to clean when necessary. I would rank it one notch below CCI on reliability. Definitely better than anything currently coming out of Remington, Winchester, or Federal. At 7 cents a round, a pretty good deal for reliable clean burning ammo.

Here is a deal you don't see often, and it is for what is arguably the best .22lr ammunition made.

CCI mini mag 40 grain copper plated round nose. 6.5 cents per round 8)

Aguila 40 grain copper plated high velocity Super Extra is now down to 4.7 cents a round, $235.00 for a 5,000 round case :D That works out to $23.50 a brick. Not sure it will go much lower due to increases in cost for lead, brass, etc. in the last few years. What a difference a change in attitudes in Washington DC makes for prices on weapons and ammunition :!:
