ATF reverses itself on armbraces

It is now legal to once again shoulder your pistol equipped with an "arm brace". 8)

Originally thought to apply just to the sig brace, but now applies to KAK blade as well as others. If in doubt, check manufacturers website.

Perhaps a change in DC is injecting a little sanity into ATF's rule making section

I foresee a big drop in short barrel rifle applications. Plus, besides going the pistol route and saving the 200 dollar tax and accompanying paperwork hassles, a pistol can largely be taken across state lines without prior ATF permission. Just remember, you must start with a "virgin" receiver when building a new pistol or buy a firearm classified as a pistol before adding an "arm brace". Attempting to put a short barrel on a rifle and adding a wrist brace still gets you a trip to club fed.

You should try the B.A.D. lever by Magpul. Decrease your reload time -and- no more coming off target to slap the bolt carrier release.
