800 yards is limited range? How many of you ever had to shoot anywhere near that in service? Not counting snipers.

On that subject I always get a kick out of the claim recently of a longer shot than Hathcock made in Vietnam. Yest it was longer by what 50 yards? Hathcock did it with a freakin' machine gun not a dedicated sniper rifle.
