here they are.. I suck ... :? .. from my notes.. the 1917 TE is under 3.. the TE of the 1903 is 2 and TE of the 03a3 is under 1..
03a3 has repop sling.. 1903 has original WWII sling.. 1917 has sling dated 1921.. missing stacking swivel

1917 is eddystone and barrel matches.. E 7-18 edystone parts..
1903 remington. barrel matches.. RA- 4-42 RA parts
03a3 is Remington matching BBL ra- 8-43
i may have mixed up bbl dates on remingtons..

Hey Poof,
Thanks for the pictures, I could look at that rifle for an hour. I have a dozen Civil War, sorry HTN (War of Southern Aggression) :P , rifles and many of them have initials and carvings of their previous handlers. I have an Austrian Lorenz used in the Civil War by I believe to be 100% Confederate soldiers, with 8 different sets of initials and the previous set of initials scratched out. How do you think the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and last soldiers felt crossing out the last guy? If it could only talk. My A2 has graffiti on the steering wheel, same personal touch that makes em special I guess "ZUTE and TONK", as well as "WELTY"S A BROWN NOSER". Great photos for sure poof. :D I'm assuming all the markings aren't all cartouches.

If I wasn't saving up to buy a full auto M16, I would consider the Eddystone. The United States Rifle, cal .30, Model of 1917, or more commonly known as a P17 Enfield, is conspicuously missing from my collection 8)
