Unread post by poof » June 12th, 2013, 11:26 am

$1000 you pay shipping and INS Moved to auction( GB ) its a bit under $800 as of now.... thanks all... http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewIt ... =348781862 C&R or to FFL only can do FTF in wisconsin with state issued ID

.FOR SALE... 1911 USGI army rearsonaled for WWII.. C&R .
Colt 1911..(1918 manufactured lower) rearsonaled at AA during WWII. Remington rand upper . all USGI..located in Watertown Wisconsin For FTF..
.. AA arsenal rebuild marks, upper is a Remington rand. barrel is correct and has the USGI plastic grip panels (WWII+)
the Colt SN# dates to 1918 this is a model 1911 not a 1911a1 all markings are clear / visible,( grease pencil used to hi-light, comes right off)

AA means Augusta Arsenal rebuild. The slide is WW2 Remington Rand. The barrel is a High Standard that would be correct for WW2 Ithaca, Union Switch & Signal, Remington Rand and sometimes Colt." The arsenal rebuild finish would have been Parkerizing. In 1918 the Colt finish would be "Blue" of sorts this is a correct WWII AA rebuild in fine condition.
This was reblued by some one..Common to do in the 60's .The plus is that it was not scrubbed of markings.. it has since been restored with a light media blast and Park as it was for WWII . It is 100% USGI. With 95+ years of History

.shoots 100% with ball ammo, excelent barrel (Picture added) U.S. PROPERTY
1 mag( commercial colt) fires 100% all the time. great condition. hits point of aim..
I only have internet access at library when i go into town..
if you need me to contact you leave a contact # in the email... more pictures on request..send an Email..
Thank you.

If all my funds weren't already committed to getting my business up and running, I would buy that up in a heartbeat. Good thing you got it well oiled or it would be a pile of rust from all the drooling I've been doing on it.

I am thinking about it but the problem would be all of the associated fees involved for me. FFL fee's, License fee's. The last I heard the wait for a license in NJ is over a year! That is a very nice looking piece.

my son in law just got a pistol permit in NJ, took 6 mos for the permit/background checks to be completed, got the permit, then when he went to purchase a gun the instant background check took another two months.....
