Bigger Wheels

Unread post by sarmadq » October 7th, 2009, 7:29 am

It has a nice punch to it, appeals me but I was going through some older posts made about bigger tires and Mutt Vet was very critical of them. I never came across how big the tires had been tried on by people, but wonder if these would cause much harm.

Sorry but don't have specs on the wheels & rubbers, have inquired from the owner but no response yet.

Any input :?: :?:

The big problem is going to be clearance to the fenders. The vehicle is light enough that bearings problems would not be an issue but the fenders would have to be trimmed, a lot.

I see no purpose on mounting big ass tires, when the ND tires and the original military rims perform better than other radials.
Check out that offset! If it was me I'd keep a hefty supply of u joints!
