Airport Car Show

Unread post by moose53 » October 8th, 2009, 2:46 am

Sunday Oct 4th I hosted our annual car show at my airport. About every kind of car from antique to custom was on display, along with my jeep. As usual it got a fair amount of interest from vets and young people. Here's a few pics....

This was the "Best of Show" winner, a 1929 Cadillac

Your mutt looks great Jim. How does the ammo can stay on the cradle?
Is it connected to the m60? Thanks for the pics.

The edge of the can goes under a lip on the bracket, then push the can down to secure it.

Wow Rick! Did they implant super zoom lens on your eyes when you had the cataract op?

Nope, Actually that eye is pretty much blind now. Things just didn't work well with the cataract deal. I used references, the white van behind the jeep, the blue tarp next to it on the right and the blue and white Chevy on left. Then you just figure, there is a blur in that spot where there should be a vehicle. Could it be a camouflaged or dark green vehicle?

MUTT-less right now

Imagine a place where civilians are immersed in a USMC VN-era "course" for 4-days.
It happens at Camp Basilone. US Marines, teaching Marine reenactors.
