Will do - I'm excited to get 'er done and keep 'er rolling! This is a great forum with more than I ever imagined about M151's !! Just looking at all the cool stuff on here will keep me busy for quite some time!!

Along those lines - anyone have any close up pictures of the m16/m14 mounting brackets or perhaps the mounting instructions around here?? My bet is they must be on this forum somewhere !!!

The reason that repair piece is so expensive is because it is special made. The large repair kit does not have that piece because the military figured that if that section rotted then the body was scrapped. it was considered beyond repair at that point. That is why the piece you are looking at is a replacement part and not a repair part. That piece has to be very strong.

I know a guy with parts in Lansing that is very good and has good prices. He has what he has as he is not a stocking dealer. If you need something let me know and I can pass the info on to him. I just got to the point of stripping my tub to begin the body work. Most of mine is fixing collision damage and some surface rust abatement. I posted pics on Steel Soldiers as the process is easier over there.

That's an easy one Jim. Just hit attach and the window will come up with the search function. Browse your computer for the picture and hit enter.

I also use them to host my pictures here. Every member has an album you can find under quick links. I upload the pics to the album and when you view them it give you the BB line to cut and past here. This is only when I post pics here. When posting then to a thead on SS I do what Floyd said. Much easier way to post pics and links to PDF files and such.

I don't see an A1. I see an early M151with the mentioned A2 parts. It has 2 cowl vents, 2 defroster vents per side in the dash, single horn hood latches, push button parking brake.
Here are some questions:
does it have oval front floor pan drains?
Does it have a black-out light on the right rear?
Does it have a flat top air cleaner?
does it have one or two rubber bumpers on the rear A-arms?
