Rope is always good. I looked at your other pic with the bent lifting eye. Remember, they are only for lifting. The recovery points are the pintle hitch in the rear and the tow shackles on the front. If you are doing a lot of off roading I would add a come-a-long to the rope and a land anchor. Over here the anchor is sold by a company called Pull-Pal.

The hub winch mentioned works well it is just a royal pain to set up. If set up ahead of time you have these big hubs sticking out past the wheels.

Rick,
Thanks for the info. I think i might be able to find manual winches here. That pullpal ground anchor is good stuff.

The wheel setup, i also don't see any practicality in it.

Seabee,
I never said Seabee accessories :D

I'm pretty sure the pics would violate the rules here. No pics more suggestive than Raymond's avatar. Image You can always PM them to us all...

Hey Seabee,
Please understand, I try to cut you a little more slack than the rest cause I have a lot of respect you WW 2 guys, but it's not polite for you to just tell me to hush up. Maybe that was acceptable back in those good old days, but if you keep acting up, we're gonna have to put you back in that home. Now take out your teeth, take your pills and head back to bed grand pappy.
