Nice looking Mutt!! Wish mine looked so nice!!. I had problems getting mine started as well..It had been setting for seveeral years as well. followed the advice on the forum, and low and behold, it's running like a top......these guys have mastered the "Let;s get it to run" steps. Good luck in getting it to run and doing the under body work.....you will enjoy it when it's all done I'm sure

Congratulations David and Welcome aboard! Great looking Mutt! and a mighty fine Deuce! :D

Every time i see a picture of a deuce, it haunts me of the demise of the deuces in the scrapyard which i skipped on a while ago! :(

It looks better than mine.

The deuces keep showing up locally on the Gov Liquidation site. They're usually A3s and in running condition but I imagine it would be a little pricey to get one out to your part of the world. Maybe I could sneak one onto the load plan next time I get deployed to Afghanistan then meet you at the border... But, life couldn't be that simple.

Hey David,
That snow is the second in 3 years isn't it? I got stranded there 2 years ago, when the DFW got closed for snow. I lost a radiator due to a freeze you had there in 75/76. At the age of 20, who knew I needed antifreeze in Texas of all places?

We usually get 1 snow a year that sticks around and hangs out for a day.

2 years ago was probably when we got pounded. My town got 10" and I think the DFW area got 8". We dont know how to work the stuff.

Ah for the days when it was only 135 degrees, but cooler in the shade.....I really do not like the cold. I'd rather strip in the summer than put on a lot of clothes.....but thats me. My wife and I are going down in Jan. to Panama ( Central America ) , to check the water temp. in the Caribbean and S. Pacific, and record our findings. ( Also look for any Military vehicles/Mutts ) Seabee

When Fort Benning/Columbus, Georgia gets 2" of snow, they let the kids out of school. Many younger children have never seen snow, nor made a snow man.
