I like it without ROPS. Looks more like what most vets remember the "Jeep" that they drove....in the day.
Looks like a heater was installed at one time...small holes in front of driver's door opening.
A hot water heater kit just sold on Ebay this week for $170 plus shipping.

My A1 had those holes in it as well. Always wondered what they were there for. Now I know, thanks Ralph.

OK, What are the holes for? The heater is on the passenger side, the hoses are on the Passengers side and the air inlet is on the passengers side. The only thing on the drivers side is the switch and that is on the dash.

Holes are for a voltage resistor that mounts there and the wire goes to the heater switch....this lets there be 2 speeds on the heater motor....HTN :wink:
