MUTTs freshly arrived & other stuff

Unread post by sarmadq » February 5th, 2010, 1:21 pm

I was in Lahore (further up country) for a day and my offroading buddy took to me a yard to check some junked out Mutts ....... We were surprised to see the new lot.

Asking price is $1,750, but shall come down to $1,450. One thing see was that none of them had gas tank caps.

The reds, whites, yellows are for the buyer to get rid off. They chalk off all the formation signs and put these markings as a sign that are non-military. Its nothing that a little brake oil rubbing won't clear. I had mine wiped clean of yellow paint but rubbing the same. They now get an undertaking from the owner stating that 'green' would not remain its color.

sarmadq,

How many are in the lot? I see perhaps eight. Are these just straight A-2's and what do you consider junkers? Now if anyone is serious about importing, this would be it.

A total of 15 in this lot. + 5 outside from an older lot. They were a mix of A2s, 825s and a few. A2s converted to 825s. Junk for the military. They were sprayed with diesel that's why they give that neat washed look. The diesel used to prevent further decaying, but a sure dust catcher.

Yup $1450 for these fresh ones, the ones out you'll get for $1050 even.

For $1050 you'll get something like this one below; all are uncut with a bit of rusting and all. With parts sourcing like you guys, one can bring them back to the assembly line condition in a matter of weeks.........or even days the way I've seen some of you work.
