SPRING!...time to bring the M151 out of hibernation

Unread post by MUTT_KAHUNA ED » March 20th, 2010, 10:07 pm

It was 70 dgress today so I thought I'd get the M151 out of winter mode....she fired up like I parked it last week....drove around town burning up last summer/fall's gas....then I decided on a family portrait...the M151 and the little brothers....A 1969 Brunswick M274-A5 and a 1966 BMY M274-A2 (4WS)......the mules a real blast to drive around the neighborhood...the kids kinda stare in amazement.......ED

Ed,
Nice looking group, did you ever finish all your bike projects? What manufacturer and size tires are you running on the A-2? I'll be looking for a mule after I finish the M37. What no KLR's invited to the photo shoot. :D

I think T.S. Eliot was wrong, March is the cruelest month, not April :x

The tires are goodyear wranglers AT's...size 225-75-16...love them!..quiet,nice handling..unlike the mil tires I have for show....I know that the 215-85-16 was the closest in size to the 700-16...but that is a dually truck tire size and MORE $$$ then the 75-16's.....I thought about the KLR's after the fact...oh well...next photo op......ED
