I thought about that when I saw those pics. It was at Ft Bliss Texas.
Thought I had thrown these out but here was the wedding, June 67.

Wish one of my buddies had dropped his sword...... would have saved me a lot of hassle. FT Bliss, it wasn't.
I have one of that 151 around somewhere.
Anyway the jeep went on to VN- I went to flight school
While digging around I did find this - my first M-151 Oct 1966, also at Ft Bliss.

I see the "No smoking while driving" stencil on the left side of the dash.
Probably a good motto in more ways than one...

Hey Homerguy,
I've never seen it actually seen that done before, so thanks for that! I honestly knew a guy that checked his natural gas well gauge with a lighter once. He was from Hudson, Ohio and his name was Chuck Hott, I know how ironic is that? Yes, I'm using past tense, he didn't make it.
