This jeep is from the Philippines which makes it more likely that the jeep was Galvanized and is not custom made out of stainless steel. It also has some chromed parts as well. Galvanizing old Jeeps is very common now in the Philippines.

Here is one.

I wonder if there are any Galvanized Mutts out there. :D

In other news, the Great Pumpkin is growing in a field near Cleveland, Ohio and on Halloween he's going to grant Rainman a wish. I'm wishing for Toptiger's latest MrD A2 acquisition to appear in my garage. :P

I suppose it also depends on what type stainless steel it is. Austentic are the only real rust-proof ones out there but they are too soft too build jeep tubs.
One thing i have not considered is that it could be galvanized stainless steel, but i cannot understand the point of galvanizing stainless steel in the first place since stainless steel itself is corrosion resistant. This is a mystery to me though I'd be interested to hear the full story of this jeep(ny).
