SEALS

OMG - We got the front bearings and seals pulled today, Since I have them (bearings and races) I am doing them on this one also. Since this thing had been in civilian hands sooo long. This is going to take a lot more time than I anticipated with all the seals, bearing, U-joints and such.

More progress. Tires mounted and such. Parts primmed and painted. A bunch of various parts epoxy primmed and painted. Having all the half shaf and drive line U joints removed today. This weekend will be full on Mutt. Next week I would like to be reassembling the front end and rear A arms with all the new components...Bearings, Brakes, Shocks, seals, diffs etc....

There are obviously multiple projects on the trailer. Thought I would get some other items done at the same time for the next project.

LOTS of hidden problems with the body once it was sand blasted. :( You could not see much of this since it was either covered and painted orange (front half) or had 4 coats of paint on it all flaking off (back half).
Some of the body work started on the left rear corner.

The rear floor is worse than it looks

That damage on the cowl and rear fenders looks consistent with mutts stacked up. The crossmember from the one on top puts the dent in the cowl and the brake drums from above dent the rear and sometimes the front fenders.

Surveyor, I edited your link to the embed fix to the one from the Chrome store since the one you put up was a spam site. Ziky, You may want to use the one I just changed it to instead of the previous one.

Rick.

Just a note, I can't see the pics even with the fix, some you can and some you can't since a lot of people have removed their files from Photobucket.
