A MUTTs day out!

Unread post by sarmadq » February 23rd, 2011, 11:54 am

Hello everyone,
It had been a longtime since we headed out somewhere on the MUTTs, so on the last weekend we went to the beach and took the MUTTs ... along with a newly commissioned Toyota FJ40.

1st, I sneaked in a turn on SNAFU's to put the boat in the water

but hit loose sand in 2x4 & bogged down

Called in ground support & used it as a winch anchor

once out, headed to put task to an end. The winch worked well
Image

....... careful not to touch the salty water.

SNAFU, back from its sea dump . note the heavy winch, its placed on between the bumper and the body rail, 4 bolts off and the bumper comes off and one can pull the complete winch mounting out, 4 bolts back on and its back to an original look.

I drove the FJ ..... it was fun drifting in it :D

All in all a good day out, I missed by MUTT  for the outing .......
