I'll get them a swamp buggy made for the kind of 4x driving there is around my place- let em rip!
I do actually drive my 151s around, and finally found the good goggles to wearso the windshield of MrD's former jeep is now down and it will stay that way. Very cool look. Fun ride.

I can assure you I never was nor would ever be an officer. I had this distinct problem with authority. When it was needed I did exactly as ordered, no questions. In the off time I tended to be a little defiant. See above reference to Captain Webster.     Top and I know each other fairly well, I would not go quite that far in service. Then again........

Hey Seabee, as Rick knows I was an an EM too. No college ROTC for me. That is why he occasionally puts up with me and my dumb questions.
I took the hard road, Pvt E-1 Basic at FT Dix, Pvt E-2 MP school at FT Gordon and OCS Ft Belvoir. Presto - an O-1 2nd Lieutenant after 11 months!

     You would think that being an Equipment operator for most of my life I would have gotten that. First thing I thought about was executive officer. With you guys getting lost and building bridges in the desert I figured you would be talking about him too.

We did Rick.....but only to get the officers off the work site by talking College football ( one of my jobs since I already had 2 years of College at that time ) .....they were so easily distracted, so we could then finish the job. Bridges in the desert/jungle/pond/ditch/middle of a street ??? Only because the LT jg told us it HAD to be there. Seabee :? :? :?

Please follow the link below which should take you to the Vietnam Jeep club that I belong to, go through the pages there and you will find lots of videos and photo's of the club in action, especially the video where KoW literally submerses his whole jeep in a canal to test the fording system. I am pleased you liked the photo's.
