Hello all,

Today I received an email from Jim Randall, who very kindly sent me some of his photos. I asked him if it was ok to post them and he said "yes", so here they are, together with Jim's comments.
Enjoy!

I was surfing the web and found your site on the M151 "Mutts In Action" page and much to my surprise my picture.
This was taken June 12, 1970 after a sapper attack on the Naval Air Facility at Cam Rahn Bay Vietnam.
I was the M60 gunner on this jeep, we ran into the sappers on the roll and as you can see they knew where the
threat was coming from, I killed the NVA sapper that put those holes in the windshield, they just missed my head.

Me and the 151Taken at Davis Monthan AFB last year
just no holes in the windshield this time!

I am attaching jpgs. of all these in case you want to use them.

Kind regards....

Obviously Jim was not real popular with the sappers! I notice that the windshield that was blown out by the satchel charge still has the bullet holes in it. This makes it easier for motor pool to replace. Now, where did that damn gasket go?
Great pics and I am glad Jim made it back to explain them. Thanks Jim.
