Very nice. I have a question, on the carburetor, the fitting right above the inlet which is normally the return line on an A2 and is normally blocked on an A1. Where is that going? By the way, You have the correct fuel inlet fitting! Everyone take notice!!!

Welcome to the forum Erik!
We have met at Ursel this summer. I was the M151a1 owner who let you drive it...
I had my eye on that jeep of yours on Milweb too, however, I am very pleased that you finally bought it.
The day after tomorrow I will be picking up my new a1 as well...check it out:

Will post more photos as soon as I have it.

Well Rick, not really. Should be a 90 degree fitting on an A1 :)

Not quite paid less than yours...the guy who sold it to me added €3300.00 to the original price it sold for only two weeks before (That's right, 4,299.41 USD extra!!!).
On top of that, it came with a car load full of spare parts which he first included, but now decided not to give...
Anyway, I have seen the vehicle and made up my mind since it is a unique piece missing in my M151 trilogy.
If all goes well, by the weekend, I will have 3 perfectly restored jeeps; M151a1 (OG), M151a2 (OG) and an M151a2 with ROPS (MERDC).
After that, I hope that this illness will be over

By the way, the seller just changed his mind again: the vehicle is no longer for sale...go figure!
