One thing you should know about Joe,s 151, what you see is exactly how he got it from DRMO! No restoration done. I have seen this vehicle in person several times and it is perfect.

Well, not exactly. That little Armored Division (or MVPA) sticker on the driver's side was added!

You'd deduct points for that, right Rick? Heh, heh.

Thanks for the comments, guys...... The independent suspension was a big factor in the award and as usual, we also got lots of comments from veterans with service experience in the jeep along with their stories, which we enjoy!!! LT Dan...... that IS an MVPA sticker for membership that started back in the late '70's when MVPA was first organized. (no points deducted) RCA827..... I will look for more pics to post........ And I guess I should also mention that my '51 Willys M38 ALSO won 1st place in the Willys Class. Yesterday was very good to me!!!

Top - I've never seen any pics of mutts equipped with LED's back in the day.... I believe they were used on larger MV's in later years and I was looking for something bright for night-time cruising in our local beach towns. They fit the bill exactly and the mutt is a tourist magnet.....

RCA827 - For additional pics, check out an earlier post here: http://www.g838.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=6498

And here's my post (with pics) from last year on the subject. http://g838.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=6406

Joe, I was kidding.
You know Rickf has them too, for the same reason, so now we can all use them with impunity

I have the LED headlights, Joe has the composite lights. I dialed in the headlights some this past weekend in Virginia and they are better but still seem quite concentrated.
