Thanks guys. Tried about everything on the camo paint to try to get the right edges and pattern. Tried cutting out newspaper and holding it above the work and spraying around the pattern. Took forever and not the result I wanted, masking tape didn't work either. Trying to spray a small pattern with the spray cans was impossible also. Finally discovered I could spray from the can into a clean soup can, Then poured the paint into an airbrush. Marked my pattern on the work with chalk about 1/2" larger than I wanted to paint and sprayed the outline with the airbrush within my lines. Center of the larger panels was then painted using the spray cans. Not a fast process but I was satisfied with the result.
The airbrush was not an expensive model and I have had it kicking around for years. They are $12.99 online and if you used it just for this one thing and trashed it you would be money ahead. Maybe this will save someone some time and aggravation. TH

It would be cheaper to buy the paint is a can and then pour it into the airbrush!

But if you are buying Gillespie paint from Rapco, they only sell it in a 1 gallon can right?

"If" you are buying Gillespie paint. This is true. But if you take it to a paint store and have it matched than no, you can get it in quarts or even pints if it is automotive paint.
