For those of you who understands Dansk. Scroll down a little bit on the site ...

Translation:

From Germany comes the spectacular Northern German fighters: Richard and Christian in the famous American Jeep, Ford M151 A2 Mutt (1968).

Yes, I know, the year is wrong but Rickf already knows the reason.

Henrik,

That would be great, meeting another G838 member in 2014. :D

Will you come with your M151A1? Two generations of the MUTT - would result in a great picture.

Here are some more details: http://www.dhmc.dk/index.php/kalender/k ... dnight-run

Hi !

I won´t promise to bring the A1 - I have no soft top mounted at the moment. The weather will decide :)

All the best.

Meet and greet in Denmark. Henrik (in the middle) came to Ribe w/o top and doors. We hat 10°C (50°F) and no sunshine. We had the chance to talk a little bit before we had to start, Henrik and his mechanic (left) back home and Christian (my Co) and I for a battle in the night. 200 km (125 mls) in 5 hours and 22 minutes. The averge speed on the different stages was between 36 and 50 km/h (between 22 and 32 mls/h). Can you imagine that you can go this speed with a M151 in the dark with no extra light in the front, searching for the correct route between the legs with time controls containing 18 other secret time controls to control your average speed? Finally we missed 5 control points and had some trouble to find the correct way in the first leg, the industrial zone of Ribe.

2nd time in Denmark the result was not so bad, 3rd of eight in our Touring class. http://www.dhmc.dk/Images/pdf/MNR14/Res ... ouring.pdf

It was very nice to meet Henrik and his mechanic in Denmark. Thanks to Henrik to come with his M151A1 w/o the arctic kit. You're the greatest :!:
