Looks nice. After Eastwind ends this year, I'm tempted to paint some portion of my vehicles/trailers in MERDC desert patterns. It would work so very well in this part of the country.

I KNEW that was coming!        I am guessing the photographer was not even paying attention to the background. Remember what I said before about the number ONE thing to remember about photography? Watch your surroundings!

Ok, I edited out the last picture. Lindsay, If you want it back I can do so easily. Let me know.

Hey guys,
My friend Ed and I take a ride every year ,on or as close as we can to newyears day. We both worked in the National forest for a couple of years.
We retraced our Suicide check route this year. Its sixty miles of off road trails and (HOT ) spots that we had to check at least once a week.
That's Ed looking for alligators s. NOTHING else.
He laughed ,so you can put it back if you want. Its up to you.
All told a great day with a very dear old friend.
PS Ed was a NAVAL aviator during Vietnam .Flew f4 s
one of the best story tellers I ever met! ALL FIGHTER PILOT!! even at 72 years of age!
Happy new year everyone! :D :D :D :D

Great shots! Camo looks perfect for those surroundings. Reminds me of terrain suited for quail hunting.

The A2 looks nice as does the surroundings. Man, Florida sure is flat :) . Thanks for posting the pics, Ken. Lindsay i quoted part of your post above because it sparked my curiosity. What do you mean by "Suicide check route"?

There where several places that people would end there life in the National forest!
We would check those spots at least once a week
For a while they where pretty active!
I hated that part of the job the most
