Graves Mt 2015 What a Hoot!
What a great time we had at Graves Mt, many thanks to Cabell and his crew for a great weekend and the use of his mountain and awesome trails. The organized trail rides were fun and Blake, Guy, Ian, Gunnar and I went off on our own for some real adventure. I am amazed at just how well our jeeps can handle the terrain, we climbed 30-40 degrees trails, rocks, dirt, some mud, forded streams, straddled gullies, never got into trouble and we did not necessarily play it safe! Anyone that has not gone should start making plans now for next year especially if you live in an area where you cannot easily find good places to play with your 151. It would be something if we could get a bunch of 151's present. Great seeing Rick, Cabell, Guy, Blake, and those new friends met during the event. My wife and daughter even wanted to come and rode some trails, although they bailed quickly when we got into a little trouble on a steep incline but all ended well
Some pics below, lots of good GoPro footage and will post some clips once I get a move made.

We came across a small herd of goats that would not get off the road and we had to push along for about 10 min until a fork in the trail

Great pic's Clell, unfortunately I was grounded most of this trip with fuel issues. Every time I would get one problem fixed something else would pop up. Next year it is back to the 151 or the CUCV, the racing engine in the Jeep just does not like going slow.

We should start doing 838 group pictures in the future. Was a very good time.

Think the reason why I never attend is that the event always catches me either when I'm between MVs (sold one yet to buy another) -or- the MV I have is currently non operational.
