Assortment of M151 Series Photos

Unread post by Joe » October 22nd, 2015, 11:03 am

These pics were taken by me personally over the last 20 something years. It's time to share the wealth.....

Chances are that you may see your jeep in this collection. If that's the case, thanks for sharing your pride and joy....

Seabee.... That accessory is a WWII carbon-arc searchlight (800 million candlepower beam) with a 25 mile range ..... Belongs to the Fort Miles Historical Association here in Delaware. This was a local Christmas Parade and one excited little girl was heard to say "Look Mommy, the soldiers are looking for Santa!!!" as we passed by. Little did she know that HE was at the end of the parade.....

Wait...... What?????? Dan, you are absolutely right!!!!! What the hell was I thinking!!! Sorry,Seabee...... I guess I'm just showing my advanced age..... Miss Delaware approached me just after a July 4th parade a few years ago and thought the jeep was very cool AND WANTED TO SIT IN IT!!! Needless to say, I obliged...... And thanks, Dan, for waking me up!!!!
