M116A2 shocks

Unread post by Bill, Idaho » October 22nd, 2016, 9:47 am

Anyone know off hand what the civilian counterpart is for a pair of shocks for an M116A2? I took one of the original ones off and plopped it on the counter at the local auto parts store and goofed up by telling him what it was off. He soon replied he would have to open "hundreds of boxes" in order to match it up. I was going to call BS, but wasn't in the mood for a confrontation at the time.

OR, He could go to a tech sheet and use the measurements to get the right numbers. I think I put one of those sheets up somewhere, the problem is that I am on so many forums I don't remember which one it is on. I will see if I can find it.

Bill, I could not find the one I posted here or on the 503 so I have no idea where it is but here is one from Monroe. The codes for the mountings are at the end of the list.
