Trailer serial number

Unread post by m151dave » February 21st, 2008, 9:39 pm

Is the serial number for the trailer stamped anywhere on the frame?

I have a M416 that had M100 data plates screwed to it by a previous owner. I have replaced the plates but have no clue what to stamp on it.

Unfortunately, the M416's did not have anything stamped on them at all, unlike the m100 that had a number stamped under the spring hanger.

RATS! Thanks for the info, not what I was hoping for but you have saved me from crawling all over the under side of the trailer.

Can anybody give me some examples of what the data plate should look like when stamped?
