Mutt M416 trailer picture request

was looking at mt TM same pages you have there.. and the picture in the lower right is marked as m151a2... the a1 dosnt have either the bracket or the lifting shackles(upper left picture) on the side... so Im thinking the hooks may have went inside the bumperetts and hooked over the top.of bumperetts..on an A1... but I dont have the trailer TM..m151 A1 spicific.. i know the bracket to hook the chains was added on an a2 and as an after thought on an a1.... but where did the safety chains hook onto the jeep say in 1961 ? or 1966?

ok here is a better picture of the area.. before the plate ( #3 ) was invented for the m151a2 where did the safety chains hook to on the jeep this picture came out of the -34p tm and was dated 1982-1988

hmm ok got it all together now.. the lunett fits best in lower position.. upper one dont quite sit all the way into pintle... chains will fit crossed under and hook to Tow hooks under the bumperetts... and are long enough to not bind when in a full turn... I have one thing left to do for now.. head to shop and try to remove screws from tail light bucket, lenses.... I am tired of holes in the palm of my hand now.. from screw drivers..

Done.. next.. could you measure the bracket that the Blackout light sits on? so I can fab one of them..
get these mounted up and hook it up to the Deuce and see if all the wires are correct and bulbs are good.

My lights are off and in the garage so I can get some pics tomorrow. Wife let the fire go out and it is COLD in here! Got to get the fire going. NOW!!!

Bracket measurements.

3 5/16" from edge to bend.

3" wide.

2 14/16" from edge to bend.

1" across at end.

2 1/16" from bend to center of hole.

2 9/16" from bend to center of dimple.

well there on now and work 100%..
got the cable clamp, I have to put that on the power cord now too..
will have to find a heated place i can paint it soon..

Here is my grand attempt.. some how i missed wrighting down the numbers for the holes I made Oval..
so they are oval to adjust for my ignorance.. but guess what.. they all line up.
I dont have a marker light so when i get that i will stick a 10-24 or what ever size screw in the Dimple hole and weld in place..I assume it sticks into housing and keeps it from spinning about..

Do you have a punch press? How did you punch, shear, and form the metal? (I used to work in an industrial sheet metal shop).
