Correct marking questions

Unread post by Bill, Idaho » August 15th, 2012, 1:03 pm

I am just about done restoring an M416 (66 Stevens), and decided on going with the original OD, . Whilst I can find ample info on proper markings for MUTT'S, can someone in simple terms brief me on the proper markings for that time frame for a trailer?

Here's the photobucket album of my 1967 M-416 restore. Some original markings were evident as illustrated in the photo of the left side just in front of the wheel. The bumper numbers were not as identifiable and were located based on what I saw when I bought it.
