Actually a B1 is a regular M416 with Mity Might wheels and fuel can brackets, that's all. That pic is from wikipedia also, if it was mine I would be asking a whole lot more for it. I still have to do the full on restoration on mine.

I thought it was a "B1" because it had serge brakes.

I think the A2 had trailer brake actuator but the B1 (as far as I know) didn't come with it.

The M416A1 has the lunette actuated hydraulic brakes. Sorry for the pic, but it does gives you an idea what it looks like.

As far as I know the B1s were only pulled behind the Mighty Mite by the Marines. I don't know why the Army never adapted the extra can carriers but I love them. I usually have a water can on one side and a fuel can on the other. The other change most people miss is the lifting loops the Marines installed. The only modification I did to the trailer was to add 2 footman loops to hold the top of the can strap in place. Other than that I Rhino Lined the inside to keep vibration down and to make the entire bed waterproof. I did the same thing to the body of my M151A1. Now there's no chance for water to wick in between panels and start rusting them out. I want to keep this trailer for a long time. I'll eventually do the same thing to my M101A2.

I would like to find a replacement data plate for the B1, mine is getting pretty faded after 40 years in the California sun.
