m 416 trailer found for sale

found this one for 350 euro , but could buy it for 300 euro ,
comments? should I buy or not?

Hi Alfa, From this view, it looks do-able. Most of the parts are there, less the military tail lights. It looks like a mid to late 60's type ( no plate ? ), with the pull brake. How is the bed and underneath ? The rear drop gate was a modification, but what the heck, its practical, and how many of us really float them in rivers . Wiring would need to be replaced I am sure, but at least it has a pig tail. Price ???? you need to ask someone over there. Good luck, its always nice to make these finds. Seabee

it's been for sale for a while ,I'm not sure if I will buy it, but the ones in good condition get hard to find and cost 3 times more or even double that ,

Hey Alfa,
It's straight and looks good other than the tailgate. Waterproof is not the same as functional. Take it from an old soldier that lifted ammo boxes into M416's, functional is better. I wouldn't convert an original to modified, but no hard feelings on the conversion. it's more functional than "as issued".

Price is right, it is straight and the rust appears to be superficial. The tailgate was well done. Your call but I would buy it.

well ,I bought it and it's a piece of junk , not road worthy ,the wheels are wobly ,needs new cables, lights ,,,,
